Hi {{ subscriber.first_name }}, Before going on holiday, and with my birthday coming up next week, I usually spend some time reflecting on my journey and progress. I want to share with you some of my life lessons. They might be of little value to you, or they might resonate deeply because they relate to your current journey and future aspirations. Here you go: 𝟏. 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐲 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐲 𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 ↳ Be curious even when you feel you don't need it ↳ Don't settle for surface-level understanding ↳ Don’t confine yourself to the basics 𝟐. 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐚 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞 ↳ Soak up knowledge from every corner ↳ If your job doesn't make you learn new things... ↳ Take charge and seek knowledge elsewhere 𝟑. 𝐁𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 ↳ Power doesn’t equate to influence ↳ Learn how to wield it wisely before you use it ↳ Your power is proportionate to the impact you make 𝟒. 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 (𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲) ↳ Never accept things at face value ↳ Challenge anything that feels wrong to you ↳ But do so with respect 𝟓. 𝐀𝐯𝐨𝐢𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐮𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐩 ↳ Avoid creating unnecessary urgency ↳ It will build more stress and pressure to deliver ↳ A fast-track career will come naturally... ↳ When you focus on learning and growth My final advice… 🙏 Spend more time reflecting. Instead of jumping from one task to another, use your time to understand: ↳ What you're learning on your journey ↳ How it contributes to your personal growth This practice not only builds learning and self-improvement. It also reconnects you with your true self. P.S. What advice would you like to give to your younger self?
